VILLA LIBRA, PORTUGAL

Consultation on the renovation of a holiday villa in the Atlantic coastal town of Aroeira, Portugal. This villa was designed with calmness and tactility in mind. Curved shapes and a muted colour scheme create a backdrop for a serene and calming retreat in a tranquil Portuguese Atlantic coastal town.

It became evident that this is a long term project. For a young French photographer based in NY, this holiday home is to be viewed as retreat on the other side of the Atlantic, closer to his roots. A place that will evolve with time and changing life-cycles. A place to meet family and bring together friends from around the world, natural materials were chosen because they will age well in time, and they will evidently reflect the life of the people that has set their mark on the space. - More photos coming soon…
